Use Hostinger email SMTP for your website contact form

If your domain’s email is on Hostinger, that mailbox can send your website’s form emails. Use the settings below.

Last updated October 26, 2026

1Find your mailbox details

In Hostinger’s hPanel, open Emails, pick your domain and mailbox, and look under Connect apps & devices for the configuration details. Reset the mailbox password there if you don’t know it.

These settings are for Hostinger Email. If your mailbox is on Titan Email through Hostinger, use the SMTP host Titan shows in its own settings.

2Create the FormSMTP project

Sign up free, add a project and pick Hostinger as the provider so the host and port fill in.

3Enter the settings

ProviderHostinger
Hostsmtp.hostinger.com
Port465 with SSL on, or 587 with SSL off (STARTTLS)
UsernameYour full email address, e.g. hello@yourdomain.com
PasswordThat mailbox’s password
From emailThe same address

Click Test connection, then add your form. See the HTML contact form guide, or compare every provider on the SMTP settings page.

Common errors

  • 535 Authentication failed: the username must be the full address, and the password the mailbox password (not your hPanel login).
  • Sender rejected: the From address isn’t the mailbox you logged in with. Send from the same address.
  • Encryption or timeout errors: switch between 465 (SSL on) and 587 (SSL off).

FAQ

Is my hPanel password the SMTP password?

No. SMTP uses the password of the individual mailbox. You can reset it in hPanel under Emails.

Port 465 or 587?

Both work with Hostinger Email: 465 with SSL on, or 587 with STARTTLS (SSL off in FormSMTP). FormSMTP fills in 465.

Why do my messages land in spam?

Usually the From address isn’t on a domain you’ve verified with the provider, or the domain has no SPF and DKIM records. Verify the domain, send from an address on it, and check the Deliverability panel in FormSMTP’s Settings.
